Circuit Breaker.

Hope Centre's Circuit Breaker program helps churches prevent domestic violence in their communities by equipping non-experts for meaningful engagement with potential perpetrators. Many of these men and women are ashamed of their abusive behaviours and are looking for practical tools and strategies for more positive and respectful relationships. With the help of course videos and a comprehensive workbook, volunteer facilitators are free to let the program do the teaching, while they focus on building relationships of trust within the small group environment. In 2019 (before lockdowns), over 30 Circuit Breaker groups were delivered across 23 locations, including local churches, community groups and even behind prison walls.
